Welcome and thank you for considering becoming a member, as a solo developer I greatly appreciate your support. This section will touch on some information mentioned from my About page, and expand on some information that was slightly touched on from the about page. Getting Started

  1. You'll need to be a continuous member (any Tier). to have access to services, so make sure you're a member of any Tier. Check the link if you want to see what each tier has to offer.
  2. After joining, you should Register to become a user. A confirmation email will be sent to the registered email.
  3. Then you can link your patreon. Either in your Settings or at the top strip where it states link patreon. You can always relink your patreon account. Relinking is can aid: if the link has become broken or if you are getting errors or in the wrong membership by going to your Settings.
  4. While you're at the settings, you can also make a user api key, this key can be used to log-in inside the game instead of using their email\password combination in game. Users find this option easier.
  5. Once you've verified your membership in your settings, you can either go to your collection to download all items or you can download items from posts. If you choose to go to your collection, you can press the refresh button to retrieve the latest data. If you choose to go to the posts instead, you can download after pressing view downloads. While being able to download items from your current tier, users can also use their points to download items above their tier more on that here.
  6. Prerequisites

This is for any new users, make sure that you've installed:
    • ScriptHookV. Everything listed after this depends on it. Follow it's installation instructions
    • If the .zip package includes an oiv, download and install OpenIV. Follow it's installation instructions.
  7. If it has a OIV, open OpenIV and go to "Tools -> Package Installer", navigate to the "oiv" and install to your "mods" if prompted. if there is no OIV file, follow the steps included in the "ReadMe.txt".
  8. You'll need to first install the Core Files. Press link to get the latest version.
  9. First time login in game

    • API KEY: Once you've installed Core Files, you can put your api key inside of "NModd.Env.ini" located in your game folder. If you haven't made your api key yet, you can make it in your Settings. Once you're in game press F10 to open the menu. It will then attempt to log you in using your api key. If all goes well you will sign in. If it states "100%" in the hamburger menu at the top right, press the reload or insert key to reload.
    • MANUAL LOGIN
Again press F10. At the top right you can log in using the hamburger menu. A user friendly guide will also appear to help you along the way.
      1. Log in using your email and password that you've on the website.
      2. Once logged in, it will reload the menu, and save credentials so that you don't have to log in manual again. (if it says 100% but it doesn't reload, press "insert" or reload key to manuall reload it).
      3. Since this is the first time you will need to authenticate. Once logged in go to the top right.
      4. Go to authentication. You can then create and send authentication code. It will once again reload, this only needs to be done once unless you change computers. (If it says 100% but it doesn't reload, press "insert" or reload key to manually reload it).
      5. You should be all set.
  10. Authentication

Regardless if you choose to use manual or Login API key. You'll need to authenticate. If Auto-Auth is set to True in "NModd.Env.ini" which it is by default it should prompt you to authenticate the moment you open the menu. However a manual way is to go to the hamburger menu at the top right go to settings -> Authentication -> press create\send authentication. It will then send authentication code to the server. If all goes well it should show up in your Settings

  11. Installation Video

If you want to have some visual aid, here is a slightly outdated but still good installation reference video.

Reward System

To thank you for your support, I've introduced a reward points system. Each month, depending on your tier, you'll accumulate reward points. Which you can use to receive access to some higher level tier items of your choosing. You can find more details about the amount of reward points for each tier in their description. You'll be able to get up to an item from a higher tier every 1.5 months. That means, a tier 1 can get a tier 2 item, a tier 2 can get a tier 3, and a tier 3 can get a tier 4 item per month. Reward points are not fixed and may change at any time.

Reward points can be broken down into two different categories: Accumulated Points and Gifted Points. Accumulated points are points that accumulate every month you're a member and will be reset once you're no longer a member. Gifted Points are points that are permanent and won't reset and may occasionally be given in special circumstances such as first time joining. Both Accumulated points and Gifted Points will be used when downloading an item from a higher tier. However the accumulated points will be used first before Gifted Points.

Trickle Down System

I've also introduced a trickle-down system. This system allows me to gradually make the "main" mod trickle down and be available for tier 2 and tier 3.By default tier 4 has all access. Starting with the the highest tier, the "main" mod trickles down one tier every month. This ensures that over time, all my patrons may get a chance to experience the main mod. Voting power on which mods from alpha WIP is considered the "main" mod is given exclusively to Tier 3. Tier 4 has access to all, so no need to vote on main mod.
